There are too many uncountable dimensions in too many uncountable worlds. The dimensions however, can be grouped into nine(9) dimensions.
The First Dimension: Is only consists of a single dimension of length where we get to move forward. No no no no, not that 'The Way Forward' by Mahathir's bullshit thing. Just move forward. The problem with this dimension is, once we get to move forward, we can't move backward in time. Also if we do not move forward, our time is wasted.
The Second Dimension: Is consists of both length and width. In this dimension, as we move forward, we get to choose. The choice however is according to what has been provided since the beginning of time.
The Third Dimension: Is about the depth of the dimensions above. So it is also about choosing any direction BUT preferred. In other words, we make the choices of where we are moving into. We can choose ourselves a 'Look East Policy' or get ourselves being liberals and look west or look upward by sending astronauts into the outer-space. Anyway, we get to move in any direction preferred. Still this dimension is about moving forward. To those who don't, their time is wasted. As we move forward, we are adding OR subtracting values into ourselves depending on our actions. In this dimension, we get to choose whatever actions there are. We get to vote for a war then trying to criminalize a war. We get to manipulate the judiciary system. We get to consume alcohol. We get to do good deeds etc etc etc. Also known as the worldly dimension because it is full of worldly subjects and objects. Also known as the 'temporary' dimension. This is the dimension of good and evil, true and false etc etc etc. This is where we are now.
The Fourth Dimension: This is where we are heading into. It is often referred to as death. This is the dimension where the souls taken away from the physical bodies. It is only the cross-over point. Every soul is alone. At this point, one's knowledge is according to the values accumulated in above dimensions. Any other knowledge is forgotten.
The Fifth Dimension: Is better known as the 'Judgment Day'. This is where time is allowed to move backward as the main witness upon our values. The judiciary system is Too Superior where no elite can afford to fix it. Everybody is judged only according to their values. Here is where the truth is the truth so no elite or politicians or journalists or hypocrites or liars can mess around. Here, the souls shall rejoin with the physical bodies.
The Sixth Dimension: This is the dimension of gathering. Also known as the dimension of promises. All souls are accumulated here. In this dimension, all souls made a promise - 'We shall do good deeds and we shall abandon bad deeds thus we shall be responsible for the values we shall accumulate'.
The Seventh Dimension: This is the dimension of calmness. This is the dimension where the physical bodies are developed and protected by their mother's womb. Also known as the dimension of the hearts. Here is where the spiritual knowledge of the promises given in the Sixth Dimension is stored. It is also known as the dimension of mercy. Here is also where the souls in the Sixth Dimension are given the last chance to take a very good look at themselves and consider their promises. If they are not willing to keep up with the promises, their souls won't be allowed to join their physical bodies thus are not allowed to enter the Third
Dimension.
The Eighth Dimension: This is the dimension of Eternal Life. This is the dimension of true legacies. This dimension also known as the dimension of multiplication. It is a dimension of at least thousands and thousands worse or better than the third dimension. Getting the Worse or Better is judged by the Fifth Dimension. Also known as the dimension of 'You live as you live, you'll get what you deserve'.
The Ninth Dimension: This is the only dimension that has no beginning and no end unlike the other dimensions. This is the Dimension of Superior Control. This Dimension controls all other dimensions. All other dimensions are subsets of this Dimension. All other dimensions have the vision of this Dimension. It is referred to GOD by many. GOD creates all life, so all life live by GOD. There are many other names for this Dimension. Among is known as the Dimension of Superior Knowledge. Also known as the Dimension of Superior Mercy. All those who are still in the Third Dimension deserve this Superior Mercy even one keep fixing the judiciary system. Also known as the Dimension of Forgiveness. Those in the Third Dimension deserve this Superior Forgiveness.
So What Are With These Dimensions?
Why the first eight dimensions are created anyway?
Except for Jinns and human beings, other creations obey the laws and commands of GOD and performs as it is destined to perform. Also known as the law of nature and are followed consistently by every entity in the universe without fail. For example given any circumstances, matter behaves consistently according to its properties. It expands when heated and contracts when cooled. Similarly, the heavenly bodies rotate and revolve at the speed, direction and the orbit destined for them. We do see this in the First Dimension.
Plants grow and bear their fruits according to the laws of nature. Animals follow their instincts throughout their life. In this way, all these creations are are seen in the Second Dimension. In short, none of these creations, however, have any choice but to follow the Laws. They do not have the freedom to make choices. Their obedience is predestined, not chosen.
Human beings and Jinns however have the freedom to choose. Although in terms of their physical being they are subjected to the laws of nature in the same way as animals or plants or the rest of any objects in the universe are, in terms of their social lifestyles they are left to make their own decisions and their own choices. The purpose of human creation is to have a creature that worships and obeys GOD on its own accord and by its own choice without being forced to obey through the laws of nature and/or instincts like other creatures.
If all humanity were to follow GOD's commands and being in total servitude to GOD, their actions would be moderate, balanced, fair and equitable and the human society would be a loving, peaceful and caring society in harmony with its environment and the nature.
GOD would not want the order and peace of His universal kingdom disturbed by the disobedient people forever. Hence, GOD decided to put human beings first in a temporary world or The Third Dimension so that each human being could be tested for his/her preference for the path of obedience or that of disobedience. A system of birth, growth and death was put in place so that each person had an opportunity to prove whether he or she could responsibly handle the authority afforded by free choice or resorted to disobedience when given freedom.
As mentioned earlier, humans deserve the Superior Mercy and the Superior Forgiveness. All one have to do is to regret, repent and correct the mistakes made and do the best that one could not to repeat the mistakes again.
Anyway, some mistakes are forgiven directly by The Superior Forgiveness by saying 'I am sorry'. Some are good enough by saying 'I am sorry and plead forgiveness not only from GOD but also from those who are totally affected by the mistakes made. And ... and some mistakes require forgiveness from both GOD and those affected by the mistakes AND require the mistakes to be corrected.
This does not mean one has to act as the opposition party by pin-pointing other people on one's own wrong-doings. Remember, when you pin-pointing other people, your own three fingers are pointing back at you. No, no, no. no, this also does not mean you have to hire the online-journalists (Ooopppsss, they do call themselves as bloggers) to speak on your behalf but rather better for you to correct your own mistakes yourself even if you have to rot yourself in jail. Remember, the Eighth Dimension is a dimension of multiplication.
You want a legacy? Do what other politicians have never done before. Admit your mistakes. Undo your mistakes. This Third Dimension is only 'temporary' anyway. May we all deserve the forgiveness. After-all, we did promise.
In case a doctor forgets, advice is like medicine ... either you take it or you don't. Still, it's about the free choices.
:-)
To err is human. To bullshit is politician.

Two Types of Diseases
This entry is brought forward by Azer Global Peace Individualism.
Previously in The Thinking Heart, this blog stands on fact that it is the heart which rules rather the brain as the heart itself is the major source of thinking and knowledge. The heart however fears:
1. Bad Actions
2. The Inconsistency in Intelligence.
The heart also fear its own diseases namely:
1. Doubts
2. Desires
Both diseases lead to a sick heart. The worst scenario is a dead heart (spiritually dead - someone with a dead heart could not differentiate between right and wrong). The next worse scenario is an almost dead heart which is hypocrisy.
Doubts relate to understanding. The worst doubt is not having trust in God. One who having problem trusting God is fearful of his provision from God. This lead the heart to worry. Worries lead to turmoil. Turmoil leads to instability. Instability allows one to be exposed to negative activities and bad actions.
Understanding the nature of the heart helps eliminating doubts in trusting God. The nature of the heart is simple: It beats but at the same time it is still. In other words, the heart prefers to beat or pumping blood at a constant frequency. This is the nature of the heart. The heart then requires a state of calmness. To have a state of calmness is to remember God at all time. Remembering God is to be submissive and rely only to God. That is why, those who do not submit and rely on God are basically in a very chaotic situation.
They do many unhealthy activities like promiscuity, consuming intoxicants, practicing corruption etc which add more state of chaotic. Some of them might not realize that they are in the state of chaotic as God ironically adds more diseases in their hearts. This lead them to keep on doing the bad things they do as these are thought won't do them any harm. Ever wonder why corrupted people keep on being corrupt?
There is a problem though: Their diseases are contagious. Those who practice promiscuity will yield another generation who practices promiscuity. Alcoholics too will breed another generation of alcoholics. Corrupted people will feed a corrupted generation who in the end totally screwed up due to the corrupted materials they consume.
Another problem is that these bad actions will someday hit them most at time they least expected. Also another problem is that bad deeds lead to another bad deeds.
The second type of the disease is the desire. Desires derived from appetite. Humans have appetite in many forms. This is the human nature which is normal. What is NOT normal is when the appetite grows out of proportion from their natural states.
Once the appetite grows out of proportions, it stirs the heart. This lead to a sickening heart.
Desires however can be controlled. Again, remembering God helps.
Remembering (to submit and rely on) God at all time is relevant. We are living in the world full of deceives. That's why we have to pray. The heart demands constant protection and intelligent. It demand to be firm against any doubts. It demands controlled desires. The heart demands to see the straight path so that the whole being (body, mind and soul) in firm order to avoid doing evil deeds. Yes, a straight path not a crooked bridge.

AR Selera Puri

There is no greater moral goal than achieving happiness. One however cannot achieve happiness by wish or whim. It requires respect for the facts of reality, including the facts about human nature and needs. It requires that one live by objective principles, including moral integrity and respect for the rights of others.
An ideal man builds businesses, invent technologies, create art and ideas, depending on their own talents and on trade with other independent people to reach their goals. An ideal man is independent – independent from the government biased policy, bankers and their financial evil tools, politicians and their empty promises, not least the corrupted corporation etc.
An ideal man is capable of understanding the world. He seeks guidance in acquiring knowledge. He does not easily give up on the possibility of understanding anything. He has the ability to think. He values his own self-worth.
The universe is open to human achievement and happiness and that each person has within him the ability to live a rich, fulfilling, independent life.
This blog morally supports the independent masspeople. I am proud to discover a blog on catering: AR Selera Puri. I'll continue to hop on blogs that promote own-business and that take advantage on internet as the marketing and information tools. Any suggestion is welcome. Consideration shall be given for the link in the Business Roll.

The Thinking Heart
"O Mr. Webster could never define ... what's being said between your heart and mine."
- Ronan Keating in When You Say Nothing At All
Previously in Absolutism In Individualism, this blog did mention once a man is forced from thinking, he is useless for his mean to survive is taken. Thinking generates actions which provide Knowledge and Trade. Knowledge and Trades support life which is plenty in nature - Liberty, Property, Happiness etc. However, there are times where good actions taken are unfruitful, unsuccessful or even devastating. Thus, Individualism needs a kind of element higher than Knowledge and Trades to supplement life in order to support good rational thinking. This is where Faith has to come in. Faith generates belief that though the results of all good actions taken may not yield well, the good actions taken themselves are what really count. Having Faith that somehow rewards shall be given in other kind of form on behalf of good actions taken is highly important in Individualism.
Most people would think that it is the brain that do the thinking. THIS IS SO WRONG. The brain is not the centre of human being. The brain does not rule a human being. It is the heart which is the center of a human and it is the heart that rules.
A heart works 24 hours a day. In a day, it beats 100,000 times, pumping two gallons of blood per minute throughout lifetime. In theology, the heart start working long before a brain was given. Medical science too proves this fact. Clearly, the heart is very independent. It does not need the brain for work initiation. The heart is somewhat self-initiated but to say self-initiated is wrong. This is where Faith has to come in because scientists could not find the source of this initiation. To those who have Faith, the initiation is Divine-driven.
Most people DO NOT think that it is the heart which is the major source of thinking. There are over 40,000 neurons in the heart and unlike neurons in the brain, the 40,000 neurons communicate with each other simultaneously. It is the heart that initiate signals to the brain which reach the amygdala and thalamus. Only then the two-way communications occur between both.
Since the heart also do the thinking, the heart also is the source of Knowledge. In fact, the heart is the source of a better knowledge which is called the Spiritual Knowledge. The foundation of this Spiritual Knowledge is given once we are born. This is why, it is human nature to worship God or Gods. Should the 40,000 neurons in the heart communicate well with each other, the heart generates a special kind of thinking called Intuition. This is why sometimes a man may have the sense of things might happen before they happen and before witnessed by the brain.
As the thinking heart is Divine-initiated, any individual has a close relationship with God. The relationship is bonded in the heart. It is a very close relationship. If we stick our two fingers together, the relationship is closer.
Unfortunately, the heart has its major setback. Unlike the brain which has quite a consistent intelligence, the intelligence of the heart is very inconsistent. This is why the heart fears. The heart fears of its inconsistency in thinking. This is the nature of the heart which should be highly respected. Only those who are arrogant put 'NO FEAR' as their slogan.
Arrogant is the worst enemy of the heart. Arrogant is satanic and a satanic tool. It is a tool used to fluctuate the intelligence of the heart. This is why sometimes a brainy-intelligent person like a doctor or an ex-Prime Minister can do very inconsistent actions. One day he might vote for a war but on another day he might try to criminalize the war. One day he might accuse a friend as homosexual but on another day he might get friendly with the accused under bullshit political concept - an enemy of my enemy is my friend. One day he might join a party but another day he might go against the party. There are many examples though they manage to deny the fact that they are arrogant but obviously their hearts have very inconsistent intelligence.
Bad actions irritate the heart. This is another reason why the heart fears. The heart gets nervous. This can cause the heart to get sick. Worse, a sickening heart grows sicker. A sickening heart is bad for both physical and spiritual of a man. The worst sickened heart is a dead heart. No, not physically dead but spiritually dead. This is why some criminals can do crimes without any guilt feeling. By the way, crimes come in many forms - corruption, nepotism, cronism, promiscuity, alcoholism, usury, etc. A dead heart could not differentiate between right and wrong. An almost dead heart is called a hypocrite. The crimes done by hypocrites are probably not obvious but they can easily be identified in many ways like giving unclear philosophical statement - In politics, there is no black or white or In politics, everything is possible and everything is not possible or In politics, there is no friend or enemy.
This is the major reason why we have to pray. Without realizing, our hearts fear and needed Divine protection. Without realizing, our hearts demand for consistency in thinking so the hearts may see the right path.
Some people put Faith and Knowledge at the same level. Some even worse, they put Knowledge over Faith under the concept 'Seeing Is Believing'. This is a very dangerous thinking. Historically, some people need the prove that God does exist by asking food to come down from the sky. They failed to see through their hearts. That is why those who have Faith do not steal simply because they have Faith that God sees them. Thus, Individualism puts Faith over Knowledge and Trades.
Reality does exist but in reality, everything that we see outside of us comes from the unseen world. Actions taken emerge from the unseen realm of the hearts. Rather pin-pointing other people for this or that, Individualism rectifies the inner-self. So why bother to criminalize the physical war while we ourselves our own enemies.
PS: If one can hear the beats of the heart, one can compose a song out of it. So ...

Absolutism In Individualism
Reality does exist and is absolute providing man dictates between true and false with rationality. Surviving the reality, man must think and act on his thinking. The thoughts then determine the character, values, emotions, and actions. Act upon the choices made, man proposes his own destiny (though God may dispose).
A human society provides values namely knowledge and trade. The values provide choices. Choices demand absolutism in man as every man is an end in himself. Other men are not his nor he is theirs. Individualism then is not opposed to man living in society. Individualism is opposed to man living in society as a slave.
Rationality requires freedom of action. Freedom of actions are the rights. The rights support life. Life provides plenty - Liberty, Property, Happiness etc. The right to live then is an absolutism in individualism. As individualism is part of a social context, rights then are moral principles. Rights are not infringed upon. A man is in his right should he is robbed and the robber is morally wrong.
A man's right can be violated at the highest degree via political order. Politics can initiate force onto men. A man's right is violated at the highest degree once his mind is stopped from thinking. Once a man is forced from thinking, he himself is useless for his means to survive is taken.
A man is in his right should he be forced from thinking and the force initiated to violate his right is morally wrong. A force initiated onto men creates another right - the right to self-defense. To use force in retaliation in self-defense against those who initiate it is not a moral option, but a moral requirement. Thus the moral principle of self-defense is never be used to initiate force but only for retaliation of self-defense. The rights of men then have the right to be protected.
In order to protect rights, a government requires three things: An army -- to protect against foreign invaders, A police force -- to protect against domestic criminals, and A court system -- to settle honest disputes that arise, enforce contracts, and to punish criminals, according to objectively predefined laws.
To ensure that no despot whether that despot be a single dictator, a political pressure-group, or a befuddled "democratic" majority of the moment may usurp the powers of government, and turn its machinery upon any of its citizens, each and every aspect of government action is codified, and carried out, according to objectively defined laws. The rule of law has only one proper purpose: To protect the rights of the smallest minority that has ever existed: The Individual.
Through the protection on the smallest minority, the individual, a society may flourish.
A society may flourish where individuals are moralists and being important: A producer, An inventor, A thinker etc even A farmer as long as individuals do contribute and give values - Knowledge and Trades. A society may flourish where the evil is not rewarded, but punished, and the good is admired, and praised. A society where virtue is not a weakness, but a strength. A society may flourish where a life of imaginable riches and wealth, is a possibility -- for everyone who is willing to think. A society may flourish where education is not a state-induced brainwashing, but truly becomes a "mind-expanding" experience. A society may flourish where the cost of living decreases, as incomes continually rise.
Reality does exist and is absolute providing man dictates between true and false with rationality.

A society may flourish where education is not a state-induced brainwashing, but truly becomes a "mind-expanding" experience. A society may flourish where the cost of living decreases, as incomes continually rise.
Reality does exist and is absolute providing man dictates between true and false with rationality.

Usury Part 2 of 2
This entry is brought to you by Azer Global Peace Individualism. Why bother to criminalize the physical war while the real war is here … own backyards!
Revision:
Say the whole economy is worth RM 100.00. The economy borrowed RM 100.00 with interest charge at 5% per annum for 5 years payments:
Year 1: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 5.
Year 2: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 5.
Year 3: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 5.
Year 4: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 5.
Year 5: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 5.
Total payment = RM 100.00 + RM 25 = RM 125.00
Question is, how can an economy pay the extra RM 25.00 while the
economy itself worth only RM 100.00???!!!
Part 2 - The Extra RM 25
Question: How can an economy pay RM 125 with the extra RM 25 while the economy itself only worth RM 100?
Answer: It simply can't. An economy worth RM 100 can't pay the extra RM 25.
Question: What can an economy do in order to pay the extra RM 25?
Answer: It has to create a Bubble Economy.
Question: What is a Bubble Economy?
Answer: It's a multiplication of the economy itself.
Question: Again, what is a bubble economy?
Answer:
An economy borrow RM 100 and in 5 years have to come up with an extra RM 25.
The economy then give loans to its sub-economies with interest charge of 6% per annum.
The payments:
Year 1: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 6.
Year 2: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 6.
Year 3: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 6.
Year 4: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 6.
Year 5: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 6.
The economy then acquire the extra RM 25 to pay the interest imposed for the loan. The economy then have another extra of RM 5.
The problem is getting worse though.
Question: The economy received an extra RM 5 so how can the problem be getting worse?
Answer: The economy is worth RM 100 and made a loan of RM 100 and total interest charged is RM 25. As the economy practices usury on its loan, it charges another RM 5. The total interest charge is RM 30.
The problem is getting even worse as the sub-economies too provide loans to the market. The sub-economies provide loan of RM 100 with interest charge of 7% per annum as the sub-economies too practice usury.
The payments:
Year 1: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 7.
Year 2: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 7.
Year 3: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 7.
Year 4: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 7.
Year 5: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 7.
The sub-economies then acquire the extra RM 30 to pay the interest imposed for the loan. The sub-economies then have another extra of RM 5.
Total interest charge on the economy is RM 25. Total interest charge on the sub-economies is RM 30. Total interest charge on the market is RM 35.
Total interest charge on the economy as a whole is then RM 35.
Question: How can an economy worth RM 100 pay the extra RM 35?
Answer: It simply can't. An economy worth RM 100 can't pay the extra RM 35.
Question: What can an economy do to pay the extra RM 35?
Answer: There are plenty alternatives:
1. Creates another bubble economy through other kind of loans - credit cards, personal loans, house loans, student loans etc.
2. Increase the consumer prices.
3. More tax.
4. Find another resources.
5. Invade another country.
6. Make people work harder.
7. Migration.
8. More foreign investments.
9. People can start selling asses or promote prostitutions or other immorality as Human Resources can be plenty too.
10. Be Mr. 'Yes' to the creditors.
11. More destruction on the environment to give way for 'economic development'.
12. The establishment of equity, bonds and other markets.
13. Promote people spending.
14. Produce weapons then create propaganda that create war that demand for weapons which is another source of economy.
15. Promote tourism.
16. Others.
Epilogue
1. Usury creates a collateral system where an economy worth RM 100 is eligible for a loan of
RM 1000 which makes things worse.
2. Usury promotes nepotism and cronism.
3. Usury creates the financial cost. Without usury, there can never be the financial cost.
There is no justice in usury. People are being oppressed. In general, corporations bear 45% of their operating cost through financial cost. Ever wonder why some items do keep on increasing in prices? It makes rich people richer and poor people poorer. It creates bubble economy which lead to an illusion standard of living. Usury is a form of colonization by the financiers towards other nations.
With this, Azer Global Peace Individualism criminalizes Usury.

Usury Part 1 of 2
Distant Early Warning: This entry is lengthy.
This entry is brought to you by Azer Global Peace Individualism. Why bother to criminalize the physical war while the real war is here … own backyards!
Those who charge usury are in the same position as those controlled by the devil's influence. This is because they claim that usury is the same as commerce. However, God permits commerce, and prohibits usury. Thus, whoever heeds this commandment from his Lord, and refrains from usury, he may keep his past earnings, and his judgment rests with God. As for those who persist in usury, they incur Hell, wherein they abide forever (Al-Baqarah 2:275)
If thou lend money to any of My people, even to the poor with thee, thou shalt not be to him as a creditor; neither shall ye lay upon him interest. (Exodus, 22:24 [6] – Hebrew Bible)
"His lord answered and said unto him, 'Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received my own with usury.'"(Matthew 25:27 – New Testament)
The Elite on Freedom of Trade
The primary ethical argument in defense of usury by The Elite has been the argument of liberty against the "restraint of trade" since the borrower has voluntarily entered into the usury contract.
But …
Say the whole economy is worth RM 100.00. The economy borrowed RM 100.00 with interest charge at 5% per annum for 5 years payments:
Year 1: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 5.
Year 2: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 5.
Year 3: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 5.
Year 4: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 5.
Year 5: Pay loan RM 20.00 + interest RM 5.
Total payment = RM 100.00 + RM 25 = RM 125.00
Question is, how can an economy pay the extra RM 25.00 while the economy itself worth only RM 100.00???!!!
The Elite Agenda
Most people know directly or indirectly that The Elite are perpetually in debt. Most have no interest in discussing the matter, because they have no control over it. That which makes them disinterested should be of the most interest to them. We are still obligated to pay!
There is a problem …
The Elite uses law to make people believe that money spent should be paid back by its subjects. The Elite is using law to get someone else to labor on their behalf.
What The Elite need is a system of extraction that allows them to increase their demands upon people.
People who believe that a nation belongs to "us" and that "we" pass laws will easily swallow the idea that a debt incurred by The Elite of a nation should be paid back.
Who have to pay?
Us!
After all, it is "our" nation, cewah … wah … wah …anything the nation does, "we" did. The deception is obvious: we never agreed to the debt. If we had, the law wouldn't need tax collectors, we would pay voluntarily.
So why debt is special?
Debt is special because it lingers in the mind. It saddles the spirit with a gnawing remembrance that we owe someone else. People simply want to pay back money they owe. The Elite readily step in to remind us of this obligation, but do everything in their power to hide the fact that
we don't actually owe anything, because we never agreed to the obligation. It is them, The Elite who started the debt.
What is really happening?
When you take on debt, you agree to pay it back later. When you loan money to someone, you do so with the understanding that they might not be willing or able to return the money; you take on risk.
The Elite debt, however, is not backed by trust, collateral, or future reputation. It is backed by violence. If you loan money to a friend, and they stiff you, chances are you would never think to knock down their door in the middle of the night, place them in chains, and toss them in a dark cage for years on end. And yet, this is exactly what The Elite do when we do not pay the taxes the law demands.
Buying and selling human lives ...
If we were to cut through the clutter of culture, the clutter of nonsensical ideas and the trappings of legitimacy that The Elite paint their laws with, we would arrive at a simple and obvious fact: The Elite use debt to buy and sell human lives.
The Elite issue paper notes that are obligations to pay, backed by the violence of their police forces. When The Elite issue a bond, they are purchased because people know that they are backed by the ability to tax.
The Elite debt creates obligations upon people that they did not choose, and backs those obligations up with violence. We say that The Elite sell bonds, that they trade paper notes. In truth, The Elite buy and sell human lives.
Who Are The Elite Anyway?
No, they are not the sultans or the kings. In fact, throughout the histories, they have managed to limit the powers of the sultans or kings.
No, they are not from the successful families that have run businesses for generations. No, they are not inventors or highly educated people. Challenge them or their children in any subject - they would back off. Exceptional probably goes to law and jurisdiction and the financial knowledge as these are the knowledge they need to master in order to control people. No, they are not good athletes too. Challenge them in their own so called sport - golf, they would back off too. No, they are not artistic. Hearing them singing is disastrous.
How Long Have They Been Around?
Since the ancient civilization of Babylon.
Who was their first great leader?
Nebuchanedzer. No, Nebuchanedzer was not a king but he was too powerful that the earlier historians thought that he was.
Have they ever been defeated?
Throughout the human histories, they were defeated only once. Nebuchanedzer and The Elite were totally defeated by King Solomon.
The OP Concept
The OP Concept is the knowledge inherited from the ancient Babylon. OP stands for 'Other People'. As The Elite are not from the wealthy business people or highly educated or kings or sultans, they utilize this concept fully in order to be in control. Their most critical OP subjects are as follows:
1) Other People's Vote - To rule a nation.
2) Other People's Money - To borrow and loan money.
3) Other People's Intelligence - To labor intelligent people on their behalf.
4) Other People's Misery - To act as champions for poor people.
5) Other People's Resources - To use other people's resources on their behalf.
The Evil Weapon
Usury is one of their great inventions among many other financial and administration systems. Usury is the most evil financial tool they have been using in order to utilize the main commodity they are mastered - the people.
Their Game - Money as Commodity
The elite treat money as commodity. This way, the elite can sell money for a higher price than its face value.
This is a total bullshit! The points against this bullshit are as follows:
(a) Money has no intrinsic utility. It cannot be utilized in direct fulfillment of human needs. It can only be used for acquiring some goods or services. A commodity, on the other hand, has intrinsic utility and can be utilized directly without exchanging it for some other thing.
(b) The commodities can be of different qualities while money has no quality except that it is a measure of value or a medium of exchange. Therefore, all the units of money of the same denomination, are hundred per cent equal to each other. An old and dirty note of RM 10/= has the same value as a brand new note of RM 10/=.
(c) In commodities, the transactions of sale and purchase are effected on an identified particular commodity. If A has purchased a particular car by pin-pointing it, and seller has agreed, he deserves to receive the same car. The seller cannot compel him to take the delivery of another car, though of the same type or quality. Money, on the contrary, cannot be pin-pointed in a transaction of exchange. If A has purchased a commodity from B by showing him a particular note of RM 10 he can still pay him another note of the same denomination.
Their Game - Loan, Loan, Loan,... Usury ...
The elite treat loans as purely commercial transactions meant to yield a fixed income to the lenders.
This is also another total bullshit! The points against this kinda bullshit are as follows:
(a) Loans are meant only for those lenders who do not intend to earn a worldly return through them. They, instead, lend their money either on humanitarian grounds to achieve a reward in the Hereafter, or merely to save their money through a safer hand. So far as investment is concerned, there are several other modes of investment like partnership etc which may be used for that purpose. The transactions of loan are not meant for earning income.
(i) He is lending money to him as a sympathetic act or
(ii) He is lending money to the borrower, so that his principal may be saved or
(iii) He is advancing his money to share the profits of the borrower.
(b) If the business of the borrower earns huge profits, the financier should have shared in the profit in reasonable proportion, not by a fixed rate of return which is governed by the forces of supply and demand of money and not on the actual profits produced on the ground. This rate of interest may be much less than the reasonable proportion a financier might have deserved, had it been a joint venture. In this case the major part of the profit is secured by the borrower, while the financier gets much less than deserved by his input in the business, which is another form of injustice.
Usury - The Effects
Usury have a persistent tendency in favor of the rich and against the interests of the common people. It carries adverse effects on production and allocation of resources as well as on distribution of wealth.
On allocation of resources.
Loans in the present banking system are advanced mainly to The Elite who, on the strength of their wealth and political connections, can offer satisfactory collateral.
On Production
Since in an interest-based system funds are provided on the basis of strong collateral and the end-use of the funds does not constitute the main criterion for financing, it encourages people to live beyond their means. The Elite do not borrow for productive projects only, but also for conspicuous consumption.
On Distribution
We have already pointed out that when business is financed on the basis of interest, it may bring injustice either to the borrower if he suffers a loss, or to the financier if the debtor earns huge profits. Although both situations are equally possible in an interest-based system, and there are many examples where the payment of interest has brought total ruin to the small traders, yet in our present banking system, the injustice brought to the financier is more pronounced and much more disturbing to the equitable distribution of wealth.
On Artificial Money and Inflation
Since interest-bearing loans have no specific relation with actual production, and the financier, after securing a strong collateral, normally has no concern how the funds are used by the borrower, the money supply effected through banks and financial institutions has no nexus with the goods and services actually produced on the ground. It creates a serious mismatch between the supply of money and the production of goods and services. This is obviously one of the basic factors that create or fuel inflation.
This phenomenon is aggravated to a horrible extent by the well-known characteristic of the modern banks normally termed as "money creation." Even the introductory books of economics usually explain, often with complacence, how the banks create money. This apparently miraculous function of the banks is sometimes taken to be one of the factors that boost production and bring prosperity. But the illusion underlying this concept, is seldom unveiled by the champions of modern banking.
So what about the extra RM25.00?
To be continued ...

Alcoholism

Distant Early Warning: This entry is lengthy and nasty.
Note: This entry is not meant to those where alcohol is an obligation to a culture or a religion.
This entry is brought to you by Azer Global Peace Individualism as man, not God, who added that "Praise" of the intoxicants for human selfish purposes, just as we see and read in our present time the commercial promotions which try hard to convince the people about the wholesomeness and great advantage the intoxicants give to the body and mind of man!
They, Alcoholics
Rationalization …
Alcoholics are the most rationalized people in the whole wide universe. This is what they keep on claiming. Only few have the idea how irrational they are. Even if they do, they cannot bear to face their irrationality. They just cannot accept the fact that they are mentally ill. No alcoholic can claim 'soundness of mind' for him or herself.
There is no point telling them that alcohol causes the stomach loses its ability to function properly, or causes loss of appetite, or it spoils ones facial features, or makes one age quicker, or weakens and reduces the ability to think and speak properly, or causes heart failure, or the progeny of alcohol are weaker, or creates fights and enmity between people, or leads towards grave sins, often adultery and murder are the direct results of drinking, or even thousands of ringgits are wasted in this vice. There is no point. Why? Because alcoholics are the most rationalized people in the whole wide universe.
Lovely …
Alcoholics are the most lovely creatures in the whole wide universe. This is also what they keep on claiming. They are like that. Simply because their own instincts are able run wild in themselves. If they consider looking funny is pretty, then why not, yes they look lovely. They never know their perverse soul-sickness are not pleasant to look upon. Only the non-alcoholics know that they with their cups are so unlovely creatures.
Enthusiasm …
Alcoholics are the most enthusiastic people in the whole wide universe. This goes without question. They run to extremes. To them, running into the extremes is something victorious, a glory. How do they able to achieve such thing? Simple. Their bodies are as abnormal as their minds. When their abnormal bodies and minds work together hand in hand, they can take full flight from reality. They can fly, they can speed, they can jump, they can tell stories with all secrets included, they can dance, they can sing, and hey, probably they are more productive too. I heard once that they can do sex for hours and hours … wow, what a glory.
No Ego …
Alcoholics are the most non-egoist people in the whole wide universe. To them, the rest of the world are self-centered people or ego-centric people. How do they achieve without having any ego inside them? Simple. They do not really concern about themselves. Funny thing is that, once awhile we do find them doing their own kind of self-pity driven by a hundred forms of fear, self-delusion, and self-seeking. Watch out! Do not step on their toes, they shall retaliate.
Religious …
Alcoholics are the most religious people in the whole wide universe. They worship people, sentiment, things, and money. They even worship themselves. To them, champions are fanatical alcoholics. "Conditions" drove them to drink, and when they tried to correct these conditions and found that they couldn't do so to their entire satisfaction, alcohol is their answer. They are so religious that it never occurred to them that they needed to change themselves to meet conditions, whatever the conditions were.
Their kind of religious taking is funny. No matter how far they have progressed, their desires will always be found which oppose the grace of God. They have their own kind of religious satisfaction. Even self-righeous anger also can be very enjoyable. Their religious rule is simple. They never wanted to deal with the fact of suffering. Escape via the bottle was always their solution. To describe drunkenness for the colorful vocabulary is rather cynical. There is nothing easier than to capitalize on drunkards. That is why they are the most religious people in the whole wide universe.
Excuses …
Alcoholics are the most excuse-maker people in the whole wide universe. This does not contradict themselves as the most rationalized people in the whole wide universe. This however, does contradict themselves as the most non-egoist people in the whole wide universe.
Their excuses may come from their twisted relations with family, friends, and society at large that many of them have suffered the most. No, no, no, no, no, they are not stupid and stubborn. Only they have the the ability to form a true partnership with another human being. This is because they are very smart by having it two ways, either they insist upon dominating people they know, or they depend on other people far too much. This is their kind of true partnership. When they habitually try to manipulate others to their own willful desires, others may revolt, and resist them heavily. They then develop hurt feelings, a sense of persecution, and a desire to retaliate. Yes, this is how they come up with their excuses.
Honesty …
Alcoholics are the most honest people in the whole wide universe. This is the result from being the excuse-makers as they tend to rely on other people way too much. We all know that children too are honest. Children tend to say right from their hearts. Same thing to the alcoholics. They say straight from their hearts but certainly they are not kids. In many ways, they are childish and that is why they are so honest. They try to turn everybody -- friends, wives, husbands, even the world itself -- into protective parents. They refuse to learn that overdependence upon people is unsuccessful because all people are fallible, and even the best of them will sometimes let them down, especially when their demands for attention become unreasonable. With their honesty, sometimes, they try to get rid of that terrible sense of isolation they've always had. When they insisted, like infants, that people protect and take care of them or that the world owes them a living, then the result was unfortunate. Their disillusionment is hard to bear. We can see it through their honesty.
All-Or-Nothing …
Alcoholics are the most all-or-nothing people in the whole wide universe. This is quite contradicting as being the most honest. If they were not being religious in their own way, they never thought of making honesty, tolerance, and true love of man and God the daily basis of living.

Alcoholics are the most all-or-nothing people in the whole wide universe. This is quite contradicting as being the most honest. If they were not being religious in their own way, they never thought of making honesty, tolerance, and true love of man and God the daily basis of living.
The result is their lack of anchorage to any permanent values. This blind them the true purpose of their lives which produced another bad result. For just as long as they are convinced that they could live by their own individual strength and intelligence, for just that long was a working faith in a Higher Power impossible. Once they do not practice their own kind of religion, their basic ingredient of all humility, a desire to seek and do God's will, is missing.
Structured …
Alcoholics are the most structured people in the whole wide universe. They have no choice but to be very structured. The morning after their excessive consumption of alcohol episodes, their bodies need water to replenish and that’s why they will feel extreme water cravings, which comes in the form of their dry mouths. The organs in their bodies try to make up their water loss by stealing it from their brains! Unfortunately, their brains won’t like this, and as a result will decrease in size and pull on the membranes that connect their brains to their sculls. This causes pain known as a headache.
If they are heavily drinking, they will often find themselves frequently urinating, and this results in the loss of salts and potassium. When these levels are low, their bodies will feel fatigued, nauseous and have headaches.
Alcohol also has the ability to break down the glucose in their bodies. This is an important energy source and without it they will feel weak, fatigued and uncoordinated.
This is the main reason why they have to be structured. Firstly, they must remember to have their meal before they begin drinking. Having food in their stomachs helps absorb some of the alcohol they are consuming, therefore if they have not eaten it is likely they will become intoxicated at a faster rate than those who have. If they eat before they drink it is likely they will not become as drunk as if they hadn’t, resulting in a reduced hangover the next day. The longer their bodies are digesting, the longer their stomachs are protected, therefore a fatty meal is best in this case. It’s okay, they don’t mind being fat anyway.
Secondly, they must try to stick to white wine and clear spirits It is believed one of the largest contributing factors to a hangover is the concentration on congeners in the alcohol they drink. Congeners are the toxic chemicals that are created during the alcohol fermentation process. Red wine and dark spirits, such as bourbon and whisky, are said to have a higher concentration of congeners and drinking dark drinks results in a worse hangover than if they drank clear.
Thirdly, they must keep themsleves hydrated. Dehydration is the biggest cause of a hangover. Whilst drinking alcohol their bodies looses a lot of liquid, especially due to constant urination. Before they go to bed and the next day they must try and drink lots of water and even some orange juice. The vitamin C in the juice helps speed up their metabolism of alcohol by the liver. Eating some toast can also help prevent an upset stomach by replacing some of the sugars lost in the body.
Fourthly, they have to have another drink! Despite all doubts, this make them feel better. While they are enduring their retched hangover their bodies are coming down off a depressant, they must have another drink.
Lastly, this is funny, they must have patient. A hangover can be expected to last approximately 24 hours, so they must make sure they have not planned anything important to do in that time. They must get themselves totally organized, relax and take it easy. They must try not to snap at those around them, instead they must look forward to how they will be feeling when it is all over. Aren’t they the most structured people in the whole wide universe? Yes they are!
Self-Controlled …
Alcoholics are the most self-controlled people in the whole wide universe. There's no need for them to avoid alcohol. The best thing for them to do is to CONTROL drinking alcohol. Isn’t this funny? If they are so good in their self-management, why take alcohol in the first place anyway?
Scientifically, there's a very different chemical reaction there which makes attempting to drink in moderation very difficult. They are denying the fact that the problem with this idea is that many alcoholics CAN'T control their drinking, whether it's a daily six-pack or binge drinking. The only way to keep alcohol from running their lives is to stay away from it altogether. It's the old concept of "One is too many, fifty isn't enough."

Where One Glass Breeds Another …
Genetic factors play a significant role in alcoholism through a natural lack of genetic protection.
Genes regulate certain chemical byproducts of alcohol called AcH. For example, some people, particularly of Muslim and Jewish populations may be less likely to become alcoholic because of a genetic deficiency in AcH. Individuals with this genetic factor, then, are less likely to become alcoholic.
Alcoholics also breed the dysfunction in the transmission of serotonin. Abnormal serotonin levels are associated with high levels of tolerance for alcohol.
So much of their self-controlled management.
But Then …
Alcohol even if only in moderate quantities, can significantly reduce a woman's chances of becoming pregnant, according to a Danish Study. It showed that women who drink between 5 and 10 units of alcohol a week are up to 50% less likely to conceive than teetotallers.
Social Obligation …
Alcoholics are the most socialable people in the whole wide universe. Why not? Being socialable is fun. Going to a party with alcohol as menu is fun.
Some assholes in the corporate management do encourage their people to take alcohol. Their main reasons: for marketing purposes, client services, business developments, business connections etc. They have the need to socialize themselves this way for the purposes.
Yes, they are very socialable. Why not? Things that are downright impossible to say when they are drunk: 1. Thanks, but I don't want to have sex. 2. Nope, no more beer for me. 3. Sorry, but you're not really my type. 4. Good evening. Isn't it lovely out tonight? 5. Oh, I couldn't. No one wants to hear me sing.
Want to get yourself socialized? Want to screw someone? Look for an alcoholic :-)
Civilization …
Alcoholics are the most civilized people in the whole wide universe. They tend to look at people who are considered most civilized. They are certainly not wrong. The Japaneses have sake. The Frenchs have champagne. The Germans have beer. The Russians have vodka. As far as modernization, advanced science and technology, these are the people to look up to. Unfortunately, so are the criminal rates.
The Dialog
Alcoholic: You are my best friend. You always seem to be there when needed. However, lately I've been wondering about your intentions. While I want to believe that you have my best interests at heart, I feel that your influence has led to some unwise consequences.
Alcohol: Ooo my friend behold thee. I am your best friend and I won’t flee. Talk to me my dear. Communicate with me.

Alcoholic: While I agree with you that communication is important, I question the suggestion that any conversation of substance or necessity takes place after 2 a.m. Why would you make me call the ex when I know for a fact they do not want to hear from me during the day, let alone all hours of the night?
Alcohol: Ooo my friend behold thee. In the name of happiness we shall speak. Your ex-es abandoned you unlike me. As being happy is sweet revenge, that is why, we both should tell them we can do without them. We are able to forget. We are able to be on our own. We are independent. We don’t need them to feed ourselves and keep staying healthy.
Alcoholic: Now, you know I love a good meal, but why do you suggest that I eat a pizza along with meatballs and some stale chips (washed down with vodka and topped off with a Kit Kat after a few cheese curls and fries)? I'm an eclectic eater, but I think you went too far this time.
Alcohol: Ooo my friend, how far is far, how high is high? We are full of the ability to the extreme. We are unique though only a chromosome devide us all as other individual but we are not like the rest of the world. So eat my friend. Drink my friend. It’s good for you.

Alcoholic: Unless you're subtly trying to tell me that I need to do more yoga to improve my balance, I see NO need to hammer the issue home by causing me to fall down. It's completely unnecessary, and the black & blue marks that appear on my body mysteriously the next day are beyond me. Similarly, it should never take me more than 45 seconds to get the front door key into the lock.
Alcohol: Ooo my friend while the world is such in a hurry, why should we? Taking our own sweet time is virtuous.
Alcohol: Ooo my friend while the world is such in a hurry, why should we? Taking our own sweet time is virtuous.
Alcoholic: The hangovers have GOT to stop. This is getting ridiculous. I know a little penance for our previous evening's debauchery may be in order, but the 3pm hangover immobility is completely unacceptable. My entire day is shot. I ask that, if the proper precautions are taken (water, vitamin B, bread products, aspirin) prior to going to sleep/passing out face down on the kitchen floor with a bag of popcorn, the hangover should be minimal & in no way interfere with my daily activities.
Alcohol: Ooo my friend the world itself is a zero-sum game. In any convenience, there is an inconvenience. Somebody gets rich and richer, somebody else get poor and poorer. Where there is flood, somewhere is draught. Your hangover is normal my friend for the fun we both had last night.
Alcoholic: We did have fun last night? I could not remember a thing.
Alcohol: Ooo yes my friend, we handled those two guys in bed well. They were very please :-)
Alcoholic: I had sex with two men?! I befriended you because of men so how could you let me near them!
Alcohol: Ooo my friend listen to me. Yes you were screwed once before and he left you for no reason. Why should that stop you from having fun? Trust me my friend. There is no difference between being screwed once and being screwed hundreds of times. Trust me, you must trust me.
Alcoholic: You are right. No doubt that you are my trustworthy friend. I have enjoyed our friendship for some years now & would like to ensure that we remain on good terms. You've been the invoker of great stories, the provocation for much laughter, and the needed companion when I just don't know what to do with the extra money in my pockets.
Alcohol: Ooo my friend, I’m here for you. I’m your best financial advisor you’ve ever had.
Alcoholic: Please stay with me. You are my best friend.
Alcohol: Oh yes my friend. SHANTIH! SHANTIH!! SHANTIH!!!

They Just Don’t Get It
There is a close resemblance between the criminal psychopath aka serial killer and the alcoholic mind. Both are grandiose, resentful, defiant, and hating of authority; both unconsciously destroy themselves trying to destroy others. Both do not have the guilty feeling upon their wrong-doings.
They don’t surrender to God's will.
“With the whole wide world, an endless universe, yet the alcoholics keep looking through their glass of alcohol in reverse.” – Azer Mantessa

Promiscuity

This entry is brought to you by Azer Global Peace Individualism – why bother to criminalize the war while we ourselves our own enemies.
Are we truly in peace?
The battle against evil is waged sometimes as a spiritual struggle and sometimes as a physical war. Islam recommends the Jihad, or Holy War, to suppress evil and advance the cause of God. Roman Catholic tradition speaks of a Just War, which may be undertaken only as a last resort, when all the milder forms of persuasion and struggle have been exhausted. Buddhist and Hindu scriptures praise the struggle against enemies of the Dharma.
The foundation for the struggle against tyranny begins with the victory of the individual soul. The individual struggles to reach the point of absolute faith where he or she has completely vanquished the body and its selfish desires and can purely and absolutely will what is good.
Promiscuity
Sex is the means by which the race projects itself into the future through children and family.
A lot of pleasure and happiness can come from sex: nature intended it that way so the race would go on. But misused or abused, it carries with it heavy penalties and punishments: nature seems to have intended it that way also.
We must be faithful to our sexual partners. Unfaithfulness generates guilt. Guilt is a milder evil. This generates jealousy and vengence which are the greater monsters: one never know when they will cease to sleep.
It is all very well to speak of ‘being civilized’, ‘being educated’, ‘modern’, ‘uninhibited’ and ‘understanding’ however, no talk can mend ruined lives. A ‘feeling of guilt’ is as sharp as a knife in the back.
Additionally, it is unhealthy. We lay ourselves open to disease. It was said that sexual disease can be controlled. Is it? Sorry, this is not the case. Not then and not in the future.
When sexual promiscuity becomes prevalent, any entity is seen to fail. Families shatter and so are any organizations. So are any nations.
The urge of the moment can become the sorrow of a lifetime.
Sex is a big step on the way to happiness and joy. There is nothing wrong with it if it is followed by faithfulness and decency.
“The minute I was born, I was not smiling” – Azer Mantessa

My Mistake: Smoking
I started smoking at the age of 14. Nobody had any influence on my addiction to cigarettes when I started. It was that one night, I had a dream of smoking Benson & Hedges. It was a very nice feeling. The next day, I illegally jumped out of the school fence and bought myself a small pack of Benson and a box of matches. I smoked a stick and it was the same feeling as in my dream. I then became addicted.
The night on the same day, I was about to have my cigarette in the school toilet. To my surprise, I found some of my closest friends smoked too. They were very shocked in the beginning and then were very happy that I too smoke. It was a very memorial night.
For 28 years, I had nothing against smoking. In fact, I thought it was a moral obligation. It was the physical embodiment for my individual spirit. Smoking was the main reason why I had been very productive. Never had I questioned anything regarding deteriorating health or anything on the economical factors. To make it even worse, I used to point out that smokers are important to the nation’s economy as we pay ‘tax’. Non-smokers should even thank us for this. For some reason, friends just cannot argue with me.
Three months ago, something did happen when I was presenting a seminar where a gallant participant embarrassed me of my smoking addiction. Since then I started to rethink on this addiction. Finally I quit.
The truth about smoking, in my own words now:
Think of the money I could save.
Very difficult to give up - not looking forward to withdrawal symptoms.
Bad for health, too expensive, very hard drug to give up.
I wish I had never started.
It doesn’t do me any harm but it doesn’t do me any good.
Horrible really when it boils down to it - just say you can’t taste things properly and it is right when you stop smoking things taste a lot better.
Filthy habit.
Years ago they were cheaper - it is getting too expensive now.
Will kill me in the end if I don’t stop.
Anybody who starts today knows of the down side. When I started nothing was said about health side.
It’s all pointless really.
My children keep telling me to give up.
My chest is probably black!! I would be healthier.
No plus points - stained teeth, blackened lungs, bad arteries, etc.
The harm a cigarette can do, I realise that I am throwing away my money to kill myself!!!
Effect on my wife and children.
It is an idiotic thing to start to do.
For the small amount of pleasure it gives me, it’s not worth the hassle I get.
I would be richer.
Offensive habit.
It’s a killer.
Because it comes to control your life - I have a physical craving which stops me doing other things.
Don’t like smell on clothes.
Feel I’m addicted to a drug.

My Mistake: Neglecting Solat
Back in Montreal, September 1983:
Brother: Are you a muslim?
Azer Mantessa: Yes, I am a muslim.
Brother: Do you pray five times a day?
Azer Mantessa: *scratch head* Errr aaaa errr aaaa errr
In 1977, I was accepted in a fully boarding school in Kedah. I was then 13 years old. It was the first time of my life being away from home, away from family and relatives and certainly away from my parents constant monitoring.
This sudden change had changed my life in many ways. I met many new friends who are intellectually competitive, stayed in an environment which demanded a lot of my independence and learned many new things. It took me only two weeks where I started to neglect solat. I was not so sure on how it happened but for sure, nobody ever reminded me to pray when it was the time to do so.
The school made it compulsory for us to perform maghrib at the mosque. In mid 1978, I started to even ‘ponteng’ solat maghrib when me and some of my friends thought it was so cool to play hideout from the prefects. Those days, that we get ourselves caught by the prefects was considered as a cool thing. We will consider it funny and something to be proud of when our names were announced as those who were caught. Having these kinds of attitudes, I took solat duty lightly.
In September 1982, I was sent to Welland, Ontario, Canada to further my studies. There were 20 of us Malaysian students who were in the same high school for our grade 13th. We had to obtain a high school diploma before we can apply to further our studies in the universities. I stayed with a dutch Canadian family who were very secular. They never really bother about any religious matter and things started to be getting worse; I did not perform solat for the whole 12 months there.
Luckily, when I came to Montreal (I got accepted as an undergraduate student in one of the university there), a Pakistani Muslim brother took responsibility in guidance us Malaysian students towards Islamic practices.
Neglecting solat is one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made. Something which I could not explain but below are the criteria of me in those years of taking this duty lightly:
* I was not a focus student – Education was not my priority.
* My intelligence was below those who do perform solat regularly.
* I was a very nervous person.
* No time management whatsoever.
* I started smoking (Luckily I never take drug and alcohol throughout my life).
* I used very inconvenient words like fuck, butuh, pukimak hang, kepala hotak hang etc in my daily conversation.
* An average and many times below average student.
* Neglected Quran totally.
* Only proud as a ‘muslim’.
* No objective in life.
* Lack of humility.
* Always in a rush.
* Quite impatience.
* Required to be the center of attention with my nonsense talking.
* Too much on TV and movies.
* Non-hygienic.
* Forgetful.
* Lack of leadership.
* Lack of thinking.
* Lack of creativity.
* Lack of intuition.
* Slow in computing.
* Selfish.
* Lazy.
* Loved pornography.
* Spent money unnecessarily.
* Narrow minded.
* Lack of good lucks.
* Blamed other people for being unlucky.
* Totally disorganized.

My Mistake - Misunderstanding
Like an old house that need a lot of improvements...
I’m a 42-year old guy who makes many mistakes, too many that only God knows the real counts. One of the greatest mistakes is being misunderstood or failing to understand. I consider misunderstanding as one of the greatest mistakes I’ve been making because of two main reasons: Lack of communication skills thus lead me to keep doing it.
Communicating is not just about talking or writing or sending messages or commenting or analyzing etc but it is about two parties sharing thoughts or ideas or data or anything which requires both sides to listen and to talk.
My computer and the internet are demonstrating a very good definition of communicating. This is where my modem sends a signal to a server somewhere in the world, the server then receives the signal, and the server does the processing and sends back another signal to my modem which is then processed by my computer.
Given the analogy, talking is then sending a signal and listening is then receiving and processing the signal. Talking is then an action while listening is then of two actions. When people say listening is very hard to do, I do agree. I do hear but do I listen?
There many reasons why listening is very difficult. Among are: different backgrounds (gender, race, religion, language, status, origin, culture, position etc), knowledge, experiences and histories. These different factors, lead the way how I view and interpret subjects and objects that may cause totally different from other people.
Many times in my life, when I misunderstood certain issues, it leads to clashes. There are times, out of these clashes; I say what I choose instead of choosing what I say. Clashes happened throughout all stages of my life: during earlier childhood, kindergarten, primary school, secondary school, university, marriage, and working. It occurred between me and my parents, siblings, relatives, wife, kids, my kampong people, friends, superiors, colleagues, subordinates, clients, suppliers, the government officers, even strangers and even chatters and probably bloggers too (I started blogging since July this year).
Fortunately, 14 years ago, the company I used to work with sent me to a seminar for effective communicating. I came to learn that the first step toward eliminating misunderstanding is to realize that the other party and I are all both different and the same. Because of the different backgrounds, there are different points of view. Yet, we are the same in that we have a need to be understood and appreciated. Knowledge of these simple facts is necessary to end misunderstanding.
I was taught that the next time I feel myself disagreeing with someone; I must stop and ask myself how their world view differs from mine. I must try to put myself in their place. I must try to understand their background. This is how I can learn not to rush to judgment and not to jump to conclusions.I also learned that should opinions still differ, both parties should be respected for the differences.
Unfortunately, though I have learned the ‘effective communication’ skills, still I keep doing this kind of mistakes. Perhaps I fail to empty my mind of biases, preconceptions, arrogance, narrow-mindedness, and stereotyping. Perhaps I fail to dispense some kindness. Perhaps the other parties are too sensitive. Because of these continuous mistakes, I name this blog as Subjected to Subjectivity for I am a 42-year old guy who are lacking knowledge and skills.
Until my next kind of mistake …

Life is Difficult!
The reality is that life has been created difficult, it has many tests and trials for us. We know that but we forget it. The following Qurânic ayât show that pretty much everything about this life is a trial. Family, wealth, relationships, good and bad things.. everything are means of testing us.
Sûrah al Baqarâh 2.155'And most certainly shall We try you be means of danger and hunger and loss of worldly goods, of lives of (labor's) fruits. But give glad tidings unto those who are patient in adversity.'
Sûrah al Imrân 3.186'You shall most certainly be tried in your possessions and in your persons...'
Sûrah al An'am 6.53'For it is in this way that We try men through one another...'
Sûrah al Anfâl 8.28'And know that your worldly goods and your children are but a trial and a temptation...'
Sûrah al Kâhf 18.7'Behold, We have willed that all beauty on earth be a means by which We put men to a test, (showing) which of them are best in conduct.'
Sûrah al Anbiyâ 21.35'Every human being is bound to taste death and We test you through the bad and the good, by way of trial; and unto Us you all must return.'
Sûrah al Ankabût 29.2'Do men think that on their saying, 'We have attained to faith' they will be left to themselves, and will not be put to a test?'
Sûrah al Balad 90.4'Verily, We have created man into pain, toil and trial.'
What are these tests for and can they benefit us?So lets use an analogy to understand what tests do. In school we have to take tests to show our strength or weakness in each subject... based on the result we pass or fail. So a test is designed to bring out our potential... to show us areas that we excel in as well as areas that we need to work on.
Life's tests are pretty much in every area of life.. be it health, wealth, family or whatever. Life's tests bring out our strength or weakness for us in the same way that school tests did. Dealing with tests is a matter of creating a mind-set that is focused on overcoming the difficulties instead of letting them overwhelm us. If we look at the difficulties that we face in our life and think of them as opportunities to build our strengths our attitude toward them will change. We will feel stronger instead of weak and helpless. When we feel helpless we are less tolerant and more impatient.
Reliance on God helps. Knowing that these tests are from Him, to help us grow and become better human beings… not only in relation to ourselves, but others as well as in our relationship to God.

Azer VS Mantessa – The Chicken Crossed the Road
Yesterday, I made the effort to buy a pack of cigs on the other side of the road. Before crossing the road, wham bam bam! There, a chicken hit by a car… flat dead.
Azer: Why the chicken crossed the road?
Mantessa: The chicken is destined to cross the road.
Azer: You mean the chicken is predestined to cross the road?
Mantessa: Yes, the chicken is predestined to cross the road.
Azer: Then what about the rule of determinism and freewill? Don’t you think it is the determinism and freewill that made the chicken crossed the road?
Mantessa: In many cases, the chicken found itself things do shape and reshape which are beyond its control. Certainly the chicken can’t control the weather and least the speed of the car.
Azer: But despite all odds, the chicken had marvellous achievements and it is difficult to believe that the chicken is a mere puppet in the mighty hand of Nature.
Mantessa: The chicken is neither completely the master of its fate nor is it bound to the blind law of predestination. It is the sovereignty of The Greatest Designer's Will. It is all pervading and nothing falls outside its orbit. It is His Will that prevails everywhere. The chicken, therefore, completely subordinate to the overruling power of God, it cannot do anything unless God wills so.
Azer: So you are telling me we are mere puppets of Nature and God?
Mantessa: No but The Almighty, Who has created everything and has determined its nature and course, has in His infinite wisdom and mercy conferred upon man a limited autonomy according to which a man is free to do or not to do a certain thing. It is because of this autonomy enjoyed by man that he is hold accountable for his deeds.
Azer: So it’s predestined but we are given the freewill of autonomy and we must hold accountable for our deeds.
Mantessa: Man shall have nothing but that what he strives for.
Azer: So what’s the idea of everything is predestined in the first place anyway?
Mantessa: The idea is to prove that the creation of this universe is not accidental but something preplanned and pre-conceived and it was shaped according to the Grand Design of the Greatest Designer. There is no element of chance in the creation of this Universe. Everything is well-set and well-planned.
Azer: And what’s the idea of freewill autonomy?
Mantessa: The idea that God has a foreknowledge of everything that He created and the events unfold themselves exactly according to it, does not imply that human beings have been completely deprived of the freedom of action. The foreknowledge of God is an acknowledged fact, but it should not be interpreter in the sense of predestination, for if we do so we shall have to conceive of eternity as a storehouse of ready-made events, from which they drop one by one like particles of sand in a glass hour. If we take the foreknowledge to be a reflecting mirror we shall have to deprive the Creator and the Controller of the Universe of His Creative Activity.
Azer: So let me get this straight. The future certainly pre-exists in the organic whole of God's creative life, but it pre-exists as an open possibility, not as a fixed order of events with definite outlines.
Mantessa: Yes. The idea of put, present and future is something relative and is conceived by the inite wind of man. It is however, a great now in the eye of the All-Seeing God. The whole expanse of eternity lies before Him in the shape of now. Knowledge is, therefore, an act of creative activity and not the mere reflection of it. When He decrees a thing it happens and He knows it before it happens. He is a free Creator.
Azer: So the whole idea does not in any way mean helpless abandonment of oneself to otherwise unwelcome fate.
Mantessa: No. It means rather co-operation with God, studying His will and bringing oneself into unison with His Planning Will. Thus, by no stretch of imagination, fatal to the freedom of conduct and unfoldment of one's inherent possibilities; it is a source of inspiration and encouragement and opens up vast fields of human activity. It is not a message of despondency and despair, but a source of solace, comfort and inspiration and a powerful means of evoking a sense of piety and humility and self-surrender to the Will of God. It does not inculcate in mind frustration and pessimism, making his life dark and dreary, devoid of hope and promise for the future, but it teaches him to put his heart and soul in the sublime work as assigned to him by his Master.
Azer: How about the span of life and livelihood. Do these not increase or decrease beyond what is laid down?
Mantessa: God would not do anything earlier before its due time, or He would not delay anything beyond its due time. The death of the chicken is according to the due time. Everything is fixed.
Azer: So what should I do?
Mantessa: Well, before the due time, the best thing to do is to perform good deeds and to ask God about your safety from the torment of Hell-Fire and from the torment of the grave.
Azer: Anything else?
Mantessa: Try to pertain to strength, shedding off weakness, seek help from God and trust in the measures set by God.
Azer: …
Mantessa: …
Azer: Pity the chicken that crossed the road.
Mantessa: Yeah … chicken can’t fly and neither can I!
